Save all warnings and instructions for
future reference.
SCREWDRIVER SAFETY WARNINGS
ŶHold the power tool by insulated
gripping surfaces, when performing
an operation where the fastener may
contact hidden wiring. Fasteners
contacting a “live” wire may make
exposed metal parts of the power tool
“live” and could give the operator an
electric shock.
ŶAmbient temperature range for tool
during operation is between 0°C and
40°C.
ŶAmbient temperature range for tool
storage is between 0°C and 40°C.
CHARGER SAFETY WARNINGS
ŶBefore using battery charger, read all
instructions and cautionary markings
in this manual, on battery charger,
battery, and product using battery to
prevent misuse of the products and
SRVVLEOHLQMXU\RUGDPDJH
ŶDo not use charger outdoors or expose
to wet or damp conditions. Water
entering charger will increase the risk
of electric shock.
ŶUse of an attachment not
recommended or sold by the battery
charger manufacturer may result in a

persons. Following this rule will reduce
the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious
SHUVRQDOLQMXU\
ŶDo not abuse cord or charger. Never
use the cord to carry the charger.
Do not pull the charger cord rather
than the plug when disconnecting
from receptacle. Damage to the cord
or charger could occur and create
an electric shock hazard. Replace
damaged cords immediately.
ŶMake sure cord is located so that it
will not be stepped on, tripped over,
come in contact with sharp edges or
PRYLQJ SDUWV RU RWKHUZLVH VXEMHFWHG
to damage or stress. This will reduce
the risk of accidental falls, which could

which could result in electric shock.
ŶKeep cord and charger away from
heat to prevent damage to housing or
internal parts.
ŶDo not operate charger with a
damaged cord or plug, which could
cause shorting and electric shock. If
damaged, have the charger replaced
by an authorised serviceman.
2| English
ŶDo not operate charger if it has
received a sharp blow, been dropped,
or otherwise damaged in any way.
Take it to an authorised serviceman
for electrical check to determine if the
charger is in good working order.
ŶDo not disassemble charger. Take it
to an authorised serviceman when
service or repair is required. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire.
ŶUnplug charger from outlet before
attempting any maintenance or
cleaning to reduce the risk of electric
shock.
ŶDisconnect charger from the power
supply when not in use. This will
reduce the risk of electric shock or
damage to the charger if metal items
should fall into the opening. It also will
help prevent damage to the charger
during a power surge.
ŶRisk of electric shock. Do not touch
uninsulated portion of output connector
or uninsulated battery terminal.
ŶDo not recharge primary cells (non-
rechargeable).
ŶThe recommended ambient

RISK REDUCTION
It has been reported that vibrations
from handheld tools may contribute to
a condition called Raynaud’s Syndrome
in certain individuals. Symptoms
may include tingling, numbness, and

upon exposure to cold. Hereditary
factors, exposure to cold and dampness,
diet, smoking, and work practices are all
thought to contribute to the development
of these symptoms. There are measures
that can be taken by the operator to
possibly reduce the effects of vibration:
ŶKeep your body warm in cold weather.
When operating the unit, wear gloves
to keep the hands and wrists warm.
It is reported that cold weather is a
