GETTING STARTED
A) Baby unit (camera)
1. Plug one end of the AC adapter into the input of the camera and the other into the mains
socket.
2. When the camera is functioning properly, the blue LED will be lit.
Note: The baby unit requires a permanent mains connection.
B) Parent unit (display)
1. Plug one end of the AC adapter into the input of the parent unit and the other into the mains
socket.
2. The parent unit will start charging and the blue LED will be lit.
3. Press the „ON / OFF“ button to turn on the device.
Note: To achieve optimal capacity and battery life, it is essential to fully charge the unit before
using it unplugged.

USE AND FUNCTIONS
− If both the parent unit and the baby unit are switched on and within range of each other,
the live image from the camera will appear on the display within a few seconds.
− Place the camera in a suitable place and point the lens so that you are satised with the
preview.
− The heads of automatically rotating cameras should never be rotated manually! Any
warranty becomes invalid if mechanical damage has been caused by physical rotation.
Note: Do not place the camera within reach of a child. If the image transmission is poor or
intermittent, try relocating the camera or making sure that there are no other electrical
devices nearby that could interfere with the transmission.

Camera disconnected
Range
As the distance between the baby unit and the parent unit increases, the signal may suer
interruptions, and the picture and sound may freeze. If the connection is lost due to the distance
being too great, the screen will turn black and the „Camera disconnected” icon will appear. The
parent unit will repeatedly try to connect to the camera.
Note: If the units do not reconnect even after reducing the distance between them, try pairing
the two units up close again, see the following chapter „Menu – pairing“.
