Dalla forma ergonomica e compatta, la Bilancia Digitale Chicco
pesa il bambino sin dai primi giorni con una portata che va dai
30 g fino ai 20 kg. La risoluzione di 10 g permette la rilevazione
anche di piccole variazioni di peso; un sofisticato programma
antivibrazione stabilizza la pesata per rilevare in modo preciso e
veloce il peso del bambino anche quando si muove.

AVVERTENZE
• Questa bilancia è da utilizzarsi solo per uso domestico, non
può essere utilizzata per uso pubblico o per transazioni di tipo
commerciale.
• Sollevare sempre la bilancia durante gli spostamenti. Non trasci-
narla né farla strisciare: potrebbe danneggiarsi o alterare il suo
funzionamento.
• Maneggiare la bilancia sempre con la massima cura.
• Non lasciare mai sulla bilancia il bambino incustodito!
• Appoggiare la bilancia solo su superci piane e stabili.
• Non porre mai sulla bilancia pesi superiori alla sua portata mas-
sima (20kg).
• Nel caso la bilancia rimanga inutilizzata per lunghi periodi,
estrarre le pile dall’apposito vano.
• Tenere i componenti dell’imballo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
• Dopo aver tolto l’apparecchio dall’imballaggio, assicurarsi che
la bilancia si presenti integra senza visibili danneggiamenti. In
caso di dubbio non utilizzarla e rivolgersi esclusivamente al
punto di acquisto.
• Non immergere la bilancia in acqua o altro liquido, non porla
sotto un getto d’acqua o far entrare acqua al suo interno, né uti-
lizzarla in prossimità di sorgenti o accumuli d’acqua: la bilancia
potrebbe danneggiarsi o alterare il suo funzionamento.
• Le caratteristiche estetiche del prodotto potrebbero subire va-
riazione senza preavviso.
MODALITÀ D’USO
1. PREPARAZIONE
Rimuovere il coperchio del vano pile posto sul fondo della bi-
lancia (Fig. 1), inserire le pile in dotazione, facendo attenzione a
rispettare la corretta polarità indicata all’interno del vano e ripo-
sizionare correttamente il coperchio. Posizionare la bilancia su un
piano orizzontale liscio e stabile senza trascinarla né farla striscia-
re sul piano (Fig. 2). Non porre mai sulla bilancia pesi superiori alla
sua portata massima (20 Kg).
2. ACCENSIONE E VISUALIZZAZIONE ULTIMA PESATA

per circa 1 secondo. Successivamente
apparirà per circa 2 secondi il valore dell’ultima pesata effettuata
e in seguito l’indicazione kg (Fig. 3). E’ possibile, grazie alla
rilevazione/memorizzazione dell’ultima pesata, calcolare la diffe-
renza con la pesata in corso: sarà sufficiente prendere nota del
peso che comparirà prima di effettuare la pesata successiva.
2.2 MODIFICA SCALA PESI
Al termine della fase di accensione del dispositivo e dopo la
visualizzazione dell’indicazione kg , mantenere premuto il
tasto TARA

per 5 secondi per modificare la scala da KG a LB/
OZ (Fig. 4).
2.3 RILEVAZIONE DELLA PESATA
Quando il display della bilancia indica kg , è possibile posi-
zionare un asciugamano sul piatto e quindi premere il tasto TARA
kg
(Fig. 4). Verificare che il display indichi kg , quindi posizionare
il bambino al centro del piatto della bilancia (Fig. 5).
ATTENZIONE: la bilancia è dotata di un dispositivo auto-
matico di stabilizzazione del peso per eliminare gli effetti di di-
sturbo sulla rilevazione provocati dagli inevitabili movimenti del
bambino. Il tempo di attesa può variare in base ai movimenti del
bambino. Quando il peso si sarà stabilizzato, il display lampegge-
rà per 3 volte e dopo il terzo lampeggio verrà visualizzato il peso
del bambino (Fig. 6). La bilancia si spegnerà automaticamente
dopo 30 secondi (Fig. 7)
ATTENZIONE: con pesi maggiori ai 20 kg, la bilancia indicherà
il seguente messaggio di errore

3.1 RIMOZIONE, SOSTITUZIONE E INSERIMENTO DELLE PILE
Rimuovere il coperchio del vano pile posto sul fondo della bilan-
cia (Fig. 9) ed estrarre le pile. Inserire le pile nuove assicurandosi
che siano di tipo uguale o equivalente a quello indicato, facendo
attenzione a rispettare la corretta polarità indicata all’interno del
vano; riposizionare correttamente il coperchio.
• La sostituzione delle pile deve essere sempre eettuata solo da
parte di un adulto.
• Utilizzare pile alcaline uguali o equivalenti a quelle indicate nel
presente manuale.
• Non mischiare tipi diversi di pile o pile scariche con nuove.
• Non lasciare le pile o eventuali utensili a portata di bambini.
• Non cortocircuitare i poli delle pile.
• Rimuovere sempre le pile in caso di non utilizzo prolungato del
prodotto.
• Rimuovere sempre le pile scariche dal prodotto per evitare che
eventuali perdite di liquido possano danneggiarlo.
• Smaltire le pile esaurite tramite raccolta dierenziata, non di-
sperdere nell’ambiente, non gettare nel fuoco o nei rifiuti ur-
bani.
• Nel caso le pile dovessero generare delle perdite di liquido,
sostituirle immediatamente, avendo cura di pulire il vano e la-
varsi accuratamente le mani in caso di contatto con il liquido
fuoriuscito.
• Non tentare di ricaricare le pile non ricaricabili: potrebbero
esplodere.
• Non è consigliato l’utilizzo di pile ricaricabili, potrebbe diminui-
re la funzionalità del prodotto.
• Il prodotto non è progettato per funzionare con batterie sosti-
tuibili al Litio.
ATTENZIONE: l’uso improprio potrebbe generare condi-
zioni di pericolo.
4. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Pulire la bilancia utilizzando solo un panno inumidito con acqua,
non utilizzare prodotti abrasivi o sostanze chimiche. Non bagna-
re o immergere la bilancia in acqua. Quando non in uso, conser-
vare la bilancia in luogo fresco e asciutto al riparo dalla luce e/o
fonti di calore, evitando di porre oggetti sopra di essa.

With its ergonomic and compact shape, the Chicco Digital Scale
weighs baby from the first few days with a capacity ranging
from 30 g to 20 kg. The 10 g resolution also allows for the
measurement of small variations in weight; a sophisticated anti-
vibration program stabilises the weight to quickly and accurately
measure the weight of baby even when he is moving.

WARNINGS
• This scale is only to be used for domestic purposes and may not
be used for public use or for commercial transactions.
• Always lift the scale when moving it. Do not drag or scrape it as
it may become damaged or its functioning may be impaired.
• Always use the scale with the utmost care.
• Never leave baby on the scale unattended!
• Only rest the scale on flat, stable surfaces.
• Never place weights on the scale that exceed its maximum
capacity (20 kg).
• If the scale is not used for long periods, remove the batteries
from the battery compartment.
• Keep the components of the packaging out of the reach of
children.
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, ensure
that the scale is intact and that there is no visible damage. If in
doubt, do not use it and only contact the retailer.
• Do not immerse the scale in water or any other liquid, do not
place it under a jet of water or allow water to get into it, or use it
in the proximity of sources or accumulations of water: the scale
could be damaged or its functioning could be impaired.

HOW TO USE
1. PREPARATION
Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of
the scale (Fig. 1), insert the batteries supplied, taking care to
observe the correct polarity as indicated on the inside of the
compartment, and replace the cover correctly. Position the scale
on a horizontal smooth and stable surface without dragging it or
scraping it along the surface (Fig. 2). Never place weights on the
scale that exceed its maximum capacity (20 kg).

for about 1 second. Then the value of the last recorded
weight out will appear for about 2 seconds followed by the
indication kg (Fig.3). It is possible, thanks to the memory
storage of the last weight, to calculate the difference with the
weighing in progress: simply make a note of the weight that will
appear before performing the next weighing.
2.2 WEIGHT SET CHANGE
After the device is powered ON and when kg appears, keep
the

button pressed for 5sec in order to switch from KG to LB/
OZ (Fig. 4).
2.3 WEIGHT MEASUREMENT
When the scale display indicates kg , it is possible to place
a towel on the weighing plate and then press the TARE key
kg
(Fig. 4). Check that the display indicates kg then place baby
in the centre of the scale weighing plate (Fig. 5).
ATTENTION: the scale is equipped with an automatic
device to stabilise the weight to eliminate the effects of
measuring interference caused by the inevitable movements of
baby. The waiting time may vary depending on the movement
of baby. When the weight has stabilised, the display will flash 3
times, and after the third flash the weight of the baby will appear
(Fig. 6). The scale will automatically switch off after 30 seconds
(Fig. 7).
ATTENTION: with weights greater than 20 kg, the scale
will show the following error message

3. FLAT BATTERIES

of the batteries which should be replaced.
3.1 REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND INSERTION OF THE BATTERIES
Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the
scale (Fig. 9) and remove the batteries. Insert the new batteries
ensuring that they are of the same type or equivalent to the ones
indicated, making sure to observe the correct polarity as indicat-
ed on the inside of the compartment; replace the cover correctly.
• The batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
• Use alkaline batteries equal or equivalent to those indicated in
this manual.
• Do not mix dierent types of batteries or at batteries with new
ones.
• Do not leave batteries or any tools within the reach of children.
• Do not short-circuit the battery poles.
• if the product is not used for a long period, always remove the
batteries.
• Always remove at batteries from the product to avoid any loss
of fluid that can damage it.
• Dispose of at batteries by recycling, do not throw away, do not
burn or dispose of with municipal waste.
• If the batteries are leaking liquid, replace them immediately,
making sure to clean the battery compartment; thoroughly
wash your hands if they have come into contact with the liquid.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they
may explode.
• Using rechargeable batteries is not advisable as doing so may
impair the functionality of the product.
• The product is not designed to run on replaceable lithium bat-
teries.
WARNING: improper use may create hazardous condi-
tions.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the scale using a damp cloth, do not use abrasive products
or chemicals. Do not soak or immerse the scale in water. When
not in use, store the scale in a cool dry place away from light and/
or heat sources, avoiding placing objects on top of it.

De forme ergonomique et compacte, le pèse-bébé électronique
Chicco permet de peser votre enfant dès la naissance avec une
portée comprise entre 30 g et 20 kg. La graduation, tous les 10 g,
permet de relever les variations de poids même les plus faibles.
De plus un programme sophistiqué anti-vibrations stabilise la
pesée an de pouvoir relever de manière précise et rapide le
poids de l'enfant même quand il bouge.

AVERTISSEMENTS
• Ce pèse-bébé est strictement réservé à un usage domestique
et ne peut pas être utilisé pour un usage public ou pour des
transactions à caractère commercial.
• Toujours soulever le pèse-bébé pour le déplacer. Ne jamais le
tirer ni le faire glisser: ceci risquerait de l'endommager ou d'alté-
rer son fonctionnement.
• Toujours manipuler le pèse-bébé avec précaution.
• Ne jamais laisser l'enfant sur le pèse-bébé sans surveillance !
• Le pèse-bébé doit être posé sur une surface plane et stable.
• Ne jamais soumettre le pèse-bébé à des poids supérieurs à sa
portée maximale (20 kg).
• Dans le cas d'une inutilisation prolongée du pèse-bébé, penser
à retirer les piles de leur compartiment.
• Tenir les éléments de son emballage hors de la portée des
enfants.
• Après avoir retiré l'appareil de son emballage, s’assurer que le
pèse-bébé est intact et sans dommage visible. En cas de doute,
ne pas l'utiliser et contacter exclusivement le point de vente.
• Ne pas immerger le pèse-bébé dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide,
ne pas le placer sous un jet d'eau ou laisser de l'eau pénétrer à
l'intérieur, ni l'utiliser à proximité de sources ou dépôts d’eau :
le pèse-bébé risquerait d'être endommagé ou son fonctionne-
ment risquerait d'être altéré.

MODE D’EMPLOI
1. PRÉPARATION
Retirer le couvercle du compartiment des piles situé sous le
pèse-bébé (Fig.1), insérer les piles fournies, en veillant à respec-
ter la polarité indiquée à l'intérieur du compartiment et repla-
cer correctement le couvercle. Poser le pèse-bébé sur un plan
horizontal lisse et stable sans le tirer ni le faire glisser (Fig.2). Ne
jamais soumettre le pèse-bébé à des poids supérieurs à sa por-
tée maximale (20 kg).
2. MISE EN MARCHE ET AFFICHAGE DE LA DERNIÈRE PESÉE

s’affichent sur l’écran pendant environ 1 seconde. Ensuite, la
valeur de la dernière pesée eectuée apparaît pendant environ 2
secondes, suivie de l’indication kg (Fig.3). Grâce à la fonction
relevé/mémorisation de la dernière pesée, il est possible de cal-
culer la différence avec la pesée en cours: il suffit alors de prendre
note du poids qui apparaît avant d’eectuer la pesée suivante.
2.2 MODIFICATION DE L´ÉCHELLE DE POIDS.
À la n de la phase d´allumage du dispositif et après l´achage
de l´indication kg , appuyer sur la touche

secondes pour modifier l´échelle de KG à LB/OZ (fig. 4).
2.3 RELEVÉ DU POIDS
Quand l'écran du pèse-bébé indique kg , on peut alors poser
une serviette de toilette sur le plateau et appuyer ensuite sur la
touche TARE

(Fig. 4). Vérifier que l’écran indique

, puis
placer l’enfant au centre du plateau du pèse-bébé (Fig. 5).
ATTENTION : le pèse-bébé est doté d’un dispositif auto-
matique de stabilisation du poids qui évite de perturber le rele-
vé à cause des inévitables gesticulations de l’enfant. Le temps
d’attente peut varier en fonction des mouvements de l’enfant.
Quand le poids est stabilisé, l’écran clignote 3 fois et après le troi-
sième clignotement, le poids de l’enfant s’ache (Fig.6). Le pèse-
bébé s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 30 secondes (Fig.7).

3. PILES DÉCHARGÉES

indiquent que les piles sont déchar-
gées et doivent être remplacées.
3.1 EXTRACTION, REMPLACEMENT ET INSERTION DES PILES
Retirer le couvercle du compartiment des piles situé sous le
pèse-bébé (Fig.9) et extraire les piles. Insérer les piles neuves en
s’assurant qu’elles sont du même type ou de type équivalent à
celui indiqué, en veillant à respecter la polarité inscrite à l’inté-
rieur du compartiment. Replacer correctement le couvercle.
• Le remplacement des piles doit toujours être eectué unique-
ment par un adulte.
• Utiliser des piles alcalines identiques ou équivalentes à celles
indiquées dans ce mode d’emploi.
• Ne pas mélanger diérents types de piles ou des piles déchar-
gées avec des piles neuves.
• Ne pas laisser les piles ni d’éventuels outils à la portée des
enfants.
• Ne pas court-circuiter les pôles des piles.
• Toujours retirer les piles en cas d’inutilisation prolongée du pro-
duit.
• Toujours retirer du produit les piles déchargées an d’éviter que
d’éventuelles fuites de liquide ne l’endommagent.
• Éliminer les piles déchargées dans un centre de tri sélectif, ne
pas disperser dans la nature, ne pas jeter dans le feu ou dans les
déchets domestiques.
• Si les piles devaient générer des pertes de liquide, les remplacer
immédiatement, en prenant soin de nettoyer le compartiment
des piles et de se laver soigneusement les mains en cas de
contact avec le liquide.
• Ne pas tenter de recharger des piles non rechargeables : elles
pourraient exploser.
• Il n’est pas conseillé d’utiliser des piles rechargeables, cela pour-
rait diminuer la fonctionnalité du produit.
• Le produit n’est pas conçu pour fonctionner avec des piles rem-
plaçables au lithium.
ATTENTION: une utilisation impropre pourrait générer
des conditions de danger.
4. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Nettoyer le pèse-bébé uniquement à l'aide d'un chion humide,
ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs ou de substances chimiques.
