Use the product for its intended purpose

Protect the product from dirt, moistureand

When inserting batteries, note the
correct polarity (+ and -markings) and
insert the batteries accordingly.Failure
to do so could result in the batteries
leaking or exploding.

specied type. Keep the instructions for

with the operating instructions of
devices safe for futurereference.
Before you insert the batteries, clean
the battery contacts and the polarity
contacts.

4. Setup
Warning
Only operate the product from asocket
that has been approved for the device.
The socket must be installed close
to the aproduct and must be easily
accessible.
Disconnect the product from the power
supply using the On/Off switch –ifthis
is not available, unplug the power cord
from the socket.
If using amulti-socket power strip,
make surethat the total power
consumption of allconnected devices
does not exceed the socket strip's
maximum throughput rating.
If you willnot be using the product for
aprolonged period, disconnect it from
mains power.
4.1 Power supply
Connect the USB cable to the USB power
supply unit. Connect the power supply unit
to the connection socket (6) on the back
of the alarm clock.
Connect the power supply unit to a
properly installed socket.
The alarm clock switches on automatically.
Alternatively,you can also insert 3
AAA batteries, observing the correct
polarity.However the displayswitches
to unilluminated standby mode after 10
seconds with battery operation.
5. Operation
5.1 Manual setting of the summer time
(GST), date, time, 12/24h
Press and hold the SET button (E) to
go to Settings mode. Set the following
information in sequence: GSTOn/Off,year,
month, day,12/24 h, hour,minutes.
To select the individual values, press the
Up button (C) or the Down button (B)
and conrm your selection by pressing the
SET button (E).
5.2 Alarm clock
Setting the alarm time
Press and hold the Alarmbutton (D)
for around 2seconds. Thealarm time
starts to ash.
Press the Up or Down button to set the
desired hour.Conrm your selection by
pressing the Alarm clock button (D).
Repeat the procedurefor the minutes.
5.3 Activating/deactivating the alarm
clock
Brieypress the Alarm clock button
(D). When the alarm clock is activated,
the alarm clock symbol (4) appears in
the display.
5.4 Snooze function
During the alarm signal, press the
Snooze/Light button (A)toactivate
the snooze function. Thealarm signal is
interrupted for around 4minutes andthen
triggered again.
5.5 Dimming function
Press the Snooze/Light button (A) to
dim the display.Thereare 4dimming
stages (bright, medium, low,off).
5.6 Displaycolours
Press the Down button (B) to select the
desired display colour.Thereare 7colour
variations in total.
