station dimensions and weight: 17 × 192 × 127 mm, 364 g
sensor dimensions and weight: 15 × 62 × 100 mm, 54 g
Getting Started
1.
Connect the adapter to the station, then insert batteries rs
t into the weather station (3× 1.5 V
AAA), then into the wireless sensor (2× 1.5 V AAA). The battery compartment of the sensor is
protected by scre
ws; use a suitable screwdriver
.
2.
When inserting the batteries make sure the polarity is correct t
o avoid damaging the weather
station or sensor. Only use alkaline batt
eries of the same type; do not use rechargeable batt
eries.
3.
Place the two units next to each other
. The weather station will automatically detect the sensor
signal within 3 minutes. If signal from the sensor is not detected, long-pr
ess the
button on
the weather station to repeat the search.
4.
We r
ecommend placing the sensor on the north side of the house. The range of the sensor ma
y
decrease substantially in ar
eas with large number of obstacles.
5.
The sensor is resistant to dripping water; ho
wever, it should no
t be exposed to sustained rain.
6.
Do not place the sensor onto metal objects as this will reduc
e its transmission range.
7.
If the low battery icon is displayed, replace batteries in the sensor or w
eather station.
Switching Channel and Connecting Additional Sensors
1.
Choose the desired channel 1, 2, or 3 for the sensor by repeatedl
y pressing the
button. Then,
long-press the
button; the
icon will start ashing.
2.
Unscrew the cover fr
om the battery compartment on the rear of the sensor and set the sensor
switch to the desired sensor channel number (1, 2, 3), then insert batteries (2× 1.5 V AAA). Data
from the sensor will be loaded within 3 minutes.
3.
If sensor signal is not found, remove the batt
eries and proceed again in accordanc
e with steps
1 and 2 or press the TX button.
Displaying Data from Multiple Sensors, Automatic Cy
cling through V
alues from
Connected Sensors
Press the
button repeatedly to display data from all connected sensors on the w
eather station,
one by one.
Y
ou can also activate cycling through data from al
l connected sensors:
1. turning on cycling
Repeatedly press the
button until the display shows the
icon.
Data from all 3 sensors will be sho
wn automatically and repeatedl
y one after another
.
2. turning o cycling
Repeatedly press the
button until the
icon disappears.
Radio Controlled Clock (DCF77)
The wireless sensor will automatical
ly start searching for DCF77 (her
einafter re
ferred to as DCF)
signal for 5 minutes after pairing with the w
eather station; the
icon is ashing. (The DCF sensor
is located in the sensor).
Signal detected – the
icon stops ashing and displays the current time with the DCF icon
.
Signal not detected – DCF icon
will not be displayed. DCF signal wil
l be synchronised daily between
2:00 and 3:00 am.
Note: If the weather station detects DCF signal but the curr
ent time on the display is incorrect (e.g.
shifted ±1 hour), you must alwa
ys set the correct time zone for the country where you ar
e using the
station, see Manual Settings.
In standard conditions (at sa
fe distance from sourc
es of interference, such as TV se
ts or computer
monitors), the reception o
f time signal takes several minutes. If the weather station does no
t detect
the signal, follow these st
eps:
5
1.
Move the weather station to another l
ocation and try to detect DCF signal again.
2.
Check the distance of the
clock from the sources o
f interference (c
omputer monitors or tele
vision
sets). It should be at least 1.5 to 2 m during the recep
tion of signal.
3.
When receiving DCF signal, do not place the weather station near me
tal doors, window frames
and other metal structures or objects (washing machines, dryers, re
frigerators, etc.).
4.
In reinfor
ced concrete structur
es (cellars, high-rise buildings, etc.), DCF signal recep
tion is
weaker, depending on the conditions. In e
xtreme cases, place the weather station close t
o a
window toward the transmitt
er.
Reception of the DCF 77 radio signal is a
ected by the follo
wing factors:
•
thick walls and insulation, basements and cellars,
•
inadequate local geographical conditions (these are dicult to asses
s in advance),
•
atmospheric disturbances, thunderstorms, electrical applianc
es with no interference elimination,
television sets and computers, locat
ed near the DCF receiver.
Manual Settings
All changes in values are made using buttons
and

Y
ou can postpone (snooze) the alarm by 5 minutes by pressing the
button. After pres
sing, the
icons will start ashing.
T
urn o the alarm by pressing
. After pressing, the
icons will stop ashing
and only
will remain on the screen. The alarm will activ
ate again the next day
.
Setting Altitude and Atmospheric Pr
essure
The station shows atmospheric pressur
e in hPa or inHg and keeps a history of pressur
e readings
for the last 12 hours.
T
o achieve more accurate calculation of pres
sure values, it is advised to manuall
y set the altitude
for the place where the weather station is being used.
1.
Short-press the
button three times
2.
Press the
button for 3 seconds and use the arrows to set altitude between -90 m to +1,990 m
(10 m increments).

4.
Short-press the
button to quit settings.
Setting T
emperature Limits for Maximum and Minimum T
emperature
