Setup
Warning
•
Only
operate
the
product
from
an
appr
oved
socket
that
is
connected
to
the
public
power
supply
.

socket
must
be
installed
close
to
the
product
and
must
be
easily
accessible.

Disconnect
the
product
from
the
power
supply
using
the
On/
Off
switch
–
if
this
is
not
available,
unplug
the
power
cord
from
the
socket.

If
using
a
multi-socket
power
strip,
make
sure
that
the
total
power
consumption
of
all
connected
devices
does
not
exceed
the
socket
strip's
maximum
throughput
rating.

If

not

using

for

Inserting
batteries
/
power
supply

battery
compartment

contact
breaker

close

battery
compartment
cover

insert

Base
station
•
Remove
the
protective
lm
from
the
display
.

Then
connect
the
enclosed
power
supply
unit
to
the
power
supply
unit
connection
socket
on
the
side
(30).
•
Connect
the
weather
station's
power
supply
unit
to
a
correctly
installed
mains
socket.
•
Alternatively
,
you
can
also
insert
2
x
AA
batteries.
However
the
display
switches
to
unilluminated
standby
mode
after
10
seconds
with
battery
operation.
5.2
Changing
batteries
Measuring
station
•
If
the
battery
warning
symbol
(16)
appears
next
to
the
outdoor
ambient
humidity
,
replace
the
batteries
in
the
measuring
station
with
two
new
batteries.
•
Open
the
battery
compartment
(38),
remove
and
dispose
of
the
spent
batteries
and
insert
two
new
AA
batteries,
observing
the
correct
polarity
.
Then
close
the
battery
compartment
cover.
Base
station
•
If
the
battery
warning
symbol
(22)
appears
next
to
the
indoor
ambient
humidity
,
replace
the
batteries
in
the
measuring
station
with
two
new
batteries.
•
Open
the
battery
compartment
(33),
remove
and
dispose
of
the
spent
batteries
and
insert
two
new
AA
batteries,
observing
the
correct
polarity
.
