The kitchen scale and precision scale, 580226 is water resistant scale with sealed housing
design. The scales have a tare function built-in. Suitable for kitchen usages.
Battery Safety Instructions
•
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The batteries must not be charged, or re-activated by other
means, disassembled, throw into fire or short-circuited.
•
Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures, like direct sunlight or fire. Do not place
near any heat source.
•
CAUTION! Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace batteries only
with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
types or brands.
•
Always insert batteries correctly with regard to the polarities (+ and -) marked on the
battery.
•
Swallowed batteries are lethal. Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets. Immedi-
ately ask for medical assistance if battery is swallowed.
•
Remove the batteries if you will not use the kitchen scale for an extended period of time.
•
Batteries shall be stored in well-ventilated, dry and cool conditions.

Preparing the appliance for use
• Remove all the packing material and pro-
tection film (if applicable).
• Keep the packaging if you intend to store
your appliance in the future.
• Remove 2 insulation tapes on the batteries
for operation.
•
Press the “ON” button. The scale is now
ready for use.

Weighing
Push ON/TARE to turn ON. Push ON/TARE to subtract
the weight of the container. Place the material to be
weighed. Push ON/TARE for
2 seconds to turn off.

Automatic Power off
The scale is designed with an auto power-off function for energy efficiency. If the same
reading is displayed for more than 1 minutes the scale will automatically turn off.

Overload indicator
When the scale is overloaded, “EEEE” will be displayed.
Out of Battery
When LCD indicates “Lo”, open the battery cover and replace
the batteries with same or equivalent type.

serdicht. Die Zuwiegefunktion erlaubt es Ihnen einzelne. Zutaten extra zu wiegen, ohne
jeweils die Schüssel von der Waage zu nehmen.
Spezielle Hinweise bzgl. der Batterien
• EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Die Batterien sind weder aufzuladen noch anderweitig zu re-
generieren; nach ihrem Herausnehmen darf man sie nicht ins Feuer werfen und kurz-
zuschließen.
• Überzeugen Sie sich, dass die Batterien keiner Auswirkung von hohen Temperaturen
ausgesetzt sind, z.B. direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder Feuer. Legen Sie die Batterien
nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen.
• ACHTUNG! Die unrichtig montierten Batterien können zur Explosion führen. Ersetzen
Sie die Batterien nur durch denselben oder einen gleichwertigen Batterietyp. Verwen-
den Sie nicht gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien, verschiedene Batterietypen oder
Batterien anderer Hersteller.
• Legen Sie die Batterien immer korrekt in Bezug auf die auf den Batterien markierte
Polarität (+ und -) ein.
• Das Verschlucken der Batterie kann zum Tod führen. Bewahren Sie die Batterien au-
ßerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren auf. Holen Sie sofort ärztlichen Rat ein,
wenn Sie die Batterie verschluckt haben.
• Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie die Küchenwaage längere Zeit nicht benutzen.
• Die Batterien sind an einem gut belüfteten, trockenen und kühlen Ort aufzubewahren.

Vorbereitung vor Inbetriebnahme

• Bevor Sie die Batterien ins Gerät einlegen,
entfernen Sie 2 Isolierbänder.

Schalten Sie das Gerät mittels
“ON”- Schalter ein. Die Waage ist nun
